Uckermark countryside. North of the city, the roads open into flat, uncrowded countryside popular with drivers who want distance and speed rather than sights. Fuel stops are less frequent here, so a longer-range car suits the drive better than a compact one.

Spreewald canals and villages. A slower, scenic route southeast of Berlin through forest and canal villages. Roads narrow near the water, so this stretch favours agile handling over outright size. Worth timing outside weekend crowds if the goal is open driving.

Baltic coast run via Usedom or Rügen. A longer day trip north to the coast, best suited to a car built for sustained motorway distance before the roads turn coastal and slower. Fuel and rest stops are spaced out on the motorway sections, so planning the return leg matters.
