Esterel Corniche. The coast road west of Cannes climbs through red rock and pine before dropping to small coves. A convertible or open-top GT suits the tight bends better than a saloon; allow time for pull-offs, as the viewpoints fill quickly on clear afternoons.
Antibes and Cap d'Antibes. A short drive east brings you to the ramparts of the old town and the villas of the Cap. Street parking near the port is limited, so a compact sports model or SUV is easier to place than a wide-bodied supercar during market hours.
Nice. The Promenade des Anglais rewards a car with presence — low, loud, and unhurried. Traffic through the city center is dense midday, so an early start or early evening run gives the best stretch of open road along the bay.
Monaco. The run east toward Monte-Carlo is the classic reason clients choose a Ferrari or Lamborghini in Cannes. Valet is standard at the casino and major hotels, which simplifies matters if you are not planning to self-park in the principality's tighter ramps.
Mougins and the Grasse hills. Inland from the coast, the roads narrow and climb through olive groves and perfume fields. A Porsche or other well-balanced sports car handles the switchbacks with more confidence than a low-slung exotic, and the drive back down offers a different view of the bay than the coastal route.
