Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device to remember information between visits. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way: your browser keeps a small piece of information so that a page can remember something, but nothing is sent back to a server automatically the way a cookie is. Pixels and tracking scripts are a different category again, usually placed to follow visitors across websites for advertising or analytics purposes.

This policy tells you, honestly, which of these exist on veyracars.com and which do not.

Veyra Cars does not set any cookies of its own. We have not installed any analytics service, advertising pixel or social-media tracker on this website. Nothing on veyracars.com builds an advertising profile of you or follows you to other sites.

The footer links to our profiles on Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot. These are plain links, written as ordinary hyperlinks. Nothing from those platforms loads, runs or sets anything until you actively click through to one of them.

Two small entries are stored directly in your browser rather than on our servers, listed in the table above. One remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. The other remembers which car you clicked, so the enquiry form can open with that car already selected and you don't have to re-enter it.

Neither entry contains your name, email address, phone number or any other detail you might type into the enquiry form. They hold nothing beyond a simple preference or selection, and the car selection is deleted the moment you close the tab or send your enquiry.

A handful of resources on this site are loaded directly from third-party servers rather than from our own hosting. Web fonts come from Google Fonts. The phone-number field in our enquiry forms uses the intl-tel-input library, loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. The destinations map on our homepage loads the Leaflet library from unpkg.com and map tiles from CARTO, built on OpenStreetMap data.

Because your browser connects to these providers' servers to fetch those files, each of them receives your IP address and standard request information such as which file was requested and when. None of these providers sets a cookie on our behalf, and we do not use any of them to track you across other websites.

The WhatsApp buttons on this site do nothing until you tap them. When you do, the page records the click in our own booking system, together with the page URL, referrer, language and the prefilled message text, so our team can follow up quickly. The button then opens WhatsApp, either in the app or in your browser.

Up to that click, nothing is set by WhatsApp on veyracars.com. Once the conversation moves to WhatsApp, it runs under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, published by Meta, and is outside our control.

You can control local storage and session storage through your browser settings: most browsers let you view, block or clear site data, or browse in a private or incognito window that discards storage when you close it. If you clear or block storage on veyracars.com, the cookie notice may reappear and the car-prefill feature on the enquiry form may stop working, but nothing else on the site depends on it.

This page is written to comply with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as implemented in the EU country from which you are visiting. The data protection authority of your EU country of residence is the supervisory authority for questions about this policy. If we ever introduce optional cookies, such as for analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent through a clear choice before anything is set.
